The firm handles a range of property-related matters, including home purchases, commercial property matters, and development projects.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Commercial Property Solicitor / Real Estate Lawyer based in Wimbledon, with hybrid/remote work available after successful completion of the probation period. The firm is seeking a confident, proactive Commercial Property Solicitor / Real Estate Lawyer to join their team. You will provide legal and practical advice and assistance to clients on all aspects of commercial property and ancillary property matters.Core areas of work and experience include:Advising clients on all aspects of commercial property transactions and managing an active caseload of mattersAcquisitions and disposals of commercial propertiesCommercial leasesProperty development, options, site development and plot salesResidential development work for small house builders on site acquisition and related planning matters, with a focus on “back garden” developments, option agreements and conditional contractsSale and acquisitions of freehold land and buildingsAsset purchase acquisitionsProviding an excellent standard of client care and quality of service at all timesDelivering accurate and up-to-date legal advice considering commercial pressures on clientsWorking accurately, reliably and in accordance with the company’s quality and risk proceduresWorking as a team memberMeeting profit/cost targets and other agreed targets in areas such as generation of new businessKeeping up to date with changes in law and practice within the areas of workAssisting the firm in implementing its Business PlanParticipating in the marketing of the firmQualificationsBroad range of experience in dealing with commercial property transactionsPrevious exposure to residential conveyancing desirable but not essentialAt least 5 years PQE, ideally 6–10Ability to work with confidence, managing own caseload with minimal supervisionGood computer literacy, including knowledge of case management systemsAbility to generate fee income to a set target based on a multiple of salaryClear understanding of Money Laundering Regulations, Solicitors Account Rules and other regulatory obligationsPrevious experience working in a Lexcel and CQS accredited firm desirable but not essentialStrong planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlinesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to create and nurture relationships with key clients at all levelsDesire to provide a high quality serviceHigh level of integrityCommercial approach to delivering legal servicesHardworking, proactive and positive attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
