Asbestos Surveyor

Overview Our client, is a highly respected name within the asbestos industry with a reputation for providing specialist asbestos services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, hardworking and adaptable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Oldham area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates and will have experienced carrying out asbestos surveys on a range of site types. Applications from Rochdale, Chorley, Stockport and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Ideal holder of the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificate, or the equivalent RSPH qualifications. Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient with Microsoft office package. Good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation. Key Responsibilities Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing. Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial, domestic and industrial. Monitoring contractors on site ensuring that they comply with asbestos Health and Safety procedures. Produce accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports. Build and maintain a good working relationship with our large portfolio of clients. In general, the successful post holder will be a team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
