If you’ve also worked in the following roles, we’d also like to hear from you: Fit-Out Construction Project Coordinator Construction Manager Site Manager Project Engineer Design and Build Construction Operations Manager SALARY: £50,000+ per annum plus Bonus Scheme + Benefits LOCATION: Hybrid Working / On Site / Swindon Office JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Manager who will help shape and deliver commercial design and build projects from early planning through to completion. As a Project Manager you will oversee cost planning, design coordination, procurement strategies, and subcontractor management, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective programme delivery. The Project Manager will also support pre-construction activities, lead on reporting and variations, and work closely with internal teams to drive project success while maintaining strong client relationships. DUTIES Develop and Maintain Programmes: Create detailed build programmes and timelines using Microsoft Project. Lead Pre-Construction Activity: Attend client meetings, define requirements, and support design and estimating teams. Coordinate Project Delivery: Manage AV, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Detection and Data disciplines across the full lifecycle. Ensure Compliance: Uphold CDM and Health and Safety regulations, mitigating risks. Manage Commercial Controls: Monitor profitability, control variations, and oversee valuations and payment applications. Deliver Reporting: Produce accurate weekly project reports and maintain variation logs. Lead Teams: Conduct 1:1s, mentor team members, support training, and participate in recruitment. Support Tendering: Assist with cost plans, early-stage risk registers, and technical tender input. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Proven experience of managing commercial fit-out, construction or design and build projects. Experience with Microsoft Project and project reporting systems. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract structures such as JCT. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A background in leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects. Commitment to quality, compliance and continuous improvement. A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
