Specialist Doctor - Bedford Recovery CMHTAn exciting opportunity has risen for a Specialist Doctor to join the East London NHS Foundation Trust and to work with the Bedford team.The post holder will support the community case load for Bedford Referrals come through the common referrals pathway. The candidate will have experience of working in this environment and will be tenacious in providing the best care over prolonged periods of time to achieve optimum outcomes for these patients using all treatment modalities.Main duties of the job1. Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of issues relating to mental and physical health for adults with acute and severe mental illness in the community (over 18 years) so that intensive and timely treatment can be delivered to prevent chronicity and dependency on psychiatric services.2. Provide clinical advice and guidance to primary care physicians to manage patients in the least restrictive environment3.
