Finance Assistant – South Lanarkshire (Office Based)Full-time | Early Friday Finish | Excellent Development OpportunityLusona is delighted to be working in partnership with our client to source suitable applicants for the position of Finance Assistant, based at their Head Office in South Lanarkshire.This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is looking to take the next step in their finance career. You'll play a key role in the financial operations of a growing and successful business, with the opportunity to develop and shape your role as the company continues to develop.Key Responsibilities:Process Accounts Payable invoicesHandle incoming and outgoing invoices; manage supplier and client queriesPerform monthly reconciliation of customer and supplier accountsSupport month-end activities and carry out financial analysis as requiredOperate financial systems including Sage for transaction tracking and reportingMaintain and update financial spreadsheets with daily transactionsWork closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate and timely transfer of sales data into financial systemsAlign project data with invoicing and ledger entriesProvide administrative support and collaborate with other departments as neededWhat We’re Looking For:Strong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel (advantageous)Experience working with Sage is desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a small, supportive finance teamAs a Finance Assistant, you will be essential to maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the smooth operation of the accounts function.
