Production Engineer – Milton Keynes

Salary: £42,000–£45,000

The Role

You will act as a technical link between engineering and production, ensuring that manufacturing processes are robust, safe, and optimised for quality and output. Typical responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing production processes, tooling, and standard work.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across lean manufacturing, quality, and throughput.
Providing technical guidance to production teams and liaising closely with design and engineering.
Supporting new product introductions, including process validation and documentation.
Investigating root causes of manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.
Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and internal procedures. 

About You

We are looking for a proactive engineer with strong problem-solving skills and experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You should bring:

A background in Production, Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
Proven experience improving production processes and supporting CI initiatives.
Knowledge of lean tools and techniques.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
