Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing Location: Cripps Royal, Tunbridge Wells, England, United Kingdom We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Residential Conveyancing team in Tunbridge Wells. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for property law who is looking to build a long-term career as a paralegal. You will be an integral part of our team, providing key support on a wide variety of residential property transactions. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to taking on and managing your own caseload over time, with supervision and support from experienced colleagues. Key responsibilities Assisting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Handling a wide range of tasks, including drafting legal documents, preparing contracts, and liaising with clients and third parties. Managing searches, Land Registry applications, and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns. Maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals. Utilising a case management system to ensure accurate file administration and tracking. About you A minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience in residential conveyancing, demonstrating a solid understanding of the conveyancing process. Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. A confident and proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain client relationships. IT proficiency, particularly with case management software and Microsoft Office. A genuine desire for a career as a paralegal and a commitment to professional development. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to our supportive working environment. You’ll spend at least 60% of your working week in the office, though arrangements may vary from role to role.
