Development Executive – South Coast Region Gallagher, Southampton, England, United Kingdom. Overview Our Retail Insurance team is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to actively grow and source new business while retaining existing clients. You will be an outstanding communicator with exceptional negotiation skills and a strong desire to achieve. How You'll Make an Impact Actively seek and respond to all new business opportunities while exceeding targets; focus on monetary goals and client engagement to strengthen our reputation. Focus on the needs of retail customers; upsell a broad range of services and products. Contribute to overall target as a strong performer, great teammate, and act with highest integrity. Attend trade dinners, AGM’s, trade shows, and expos; leverage interpersonal skills to network and seize new opportunities. Negotiate effectively with Underwriters and Insurers to secure appropriate terms. Present a dynamic and professional image of Gallagher to all stakeholders and encourage open dialogue about our industry. About You Business and sales management experience in a commercial setting; dedicated to deliver and grow with us. A consistent track record of delivering against targets within a regulated, measurable framework is vital. Comfortable generating leads and building pipelines autonomously; make things happen and provide the best possible service. Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to travel.
