Job responsibilities This is an exciting opportunity for Fixed term NHS Consultant appointments in the Womens Care Group at Medway Maritime Hospital in Kent. The posts will commence as soon as possible. This post is in a busy department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The successful candidates will provide a Consultant-led and delivered care in different aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The candidates are expected to have worked independently in clinical settings managing gynaecological outpatients for benign conditions, outpatient procedure clinics day surgery and inpatient theatres.. The posts will attract 10-programmed activities according to the new contract and the candidate is expected to provide on-call services for obstetrics and gynaecology. Qualifications Full GMC registration with licence to practice MBBS or Equivalent Knowledge NHS experience of working in busy Obstetric and Gynaecology department Experience in independently managing common obstetric and gynaecological emergencies Experience Confident management of obstetric and gynaecology emergencies Knowledge about risk management and clinical governance Must be on the specialist register or within 6 months from obtaining CCT at the time of interview Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £109,725 to £145,478 a yearPer Annum/ Pro Rata #J-18808-Ljbffr
