Job Summary Salaried GP Vacancy Montpelier Surgery is a small, friendly practice located in the Clifton Hill conservation area, right in the heart of Brighton. We are seeking a salaried GP to join our team for 4‑6 sessions per week, following the planned retirement of one of our longstanding colleagues. Our ethos is to maintain a supportive, happy working environment while delivering outstanding patient care. We serve a list size of approximately 7,000 patients and have a close-knit multidisciplinary team consisting of 1 GP Partner, 4 Salaried GPs, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 HCA, a Senior Pharmacist, and additional ARRS roles available through our PCN. You will work in collaboration with the local practice team, engaging the associated roles available within the practice. You are expected to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to empower patients to manage their health conditions. Person Specification Essential Qualifications GMC registered CCST for primary care in the UK Eligible to practice independently as a GP in the UK Full GMC Registration to practice as a GP Entry on the Medical Performers List Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery Desirable Qualifications Pleasant and supportive personality Ability to perform well under pressure Resourceful Flexible & adaptable approach to work, including availability to provide cover as required MRCGP (desirable) Good understanding of the transforming landscape of primary care, new roles and multi‑professional teams General understanding of the GMS contract Good understanding of QOF Understanding of GP commissioning Knowledge of Patient Choice Other Information Posting Date: 11 December 2025Pay scheme: OtherSalary: Depending on experienceContract: PermanentWorking pattern: Part‑time Note: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
