OverviewJob Title: Senior Consultant - HydrogeologistLocation: West MidlandsSector: Environmental & Geological ServicesWe are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Hydrogeologist to deliver and lead complex hydrogeological projects across sectors such as environmental planning, permitting, waste, minerals, and land quality. The role will involve site investigations, groundwater and surface water monitoring, risk assessments, and data analysis, alongside mentoring colleagues and managing projects from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesLeading site investigations and supervising field teamsConducting hydrogeological and land quality assessmentsApplying risk assessment models for water, environment and human health impactsManaging multiple projects, budgets and client relationshipsSupporting and mentoring junior colleaguesQualificationsMSc in Hydrogeology (or related discipline) desirableBSc/MSc/MSci in Geology, Earth Sciences or similarChartered status (or working towards)Strong technical skills in hydrogeological modelling and risk assessmentProven project management and client engagement experienceThis role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a senior position, combining technical expertise with leadership and client-facing responsibilities.About usAllen & York have been matching purposeful people with purpose-led organisations for 30 years.
