Job Summary Senior Assistant Psychologist (2‑year Fixed Term) at GCG Group, based at Dartmouth House, Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. Pay £24,983 - £27,983 per annum. Key Responsibilities Provide psychological assessment, formulation and intervention under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. Conduct audits, collect statistics, produce reports, and manage administrative tasks related to clinical work. Engage in research projects, assist with publication preparation, and support staff training initiatives. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, developing care plans and delivering low‑intensity psychological interventions. Assist in managing risk and problem behaviours, plan and coordinate therapeutic groups, and attend multi‑disciplinary meetings. Participate in service evaluation, research, and development of training and education sessions. Qualifications Psychology degree with a minimum 2:1 honours, recognised by the British Psychological Society. Minimum 12 months experience working with individuals who have mental health challenges and/or learning disabilities, and/or physical health issues or cognitive impairments.
