Job Summary This role is based within the Integrated Inventory Team of North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, operating through our subsidiary North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions. The successful candidate will provide a high‑quality materials‑management service, supporting efficient stock receipt, storage, distribution, ordering and replenishment under the direction of the Integrated Inventory Team Leader. A full UK driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities Provide a materials‑management service to defined areas. Ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods. Requisition goods to maintain regular stock levels, including stock and non‑stock items. Restock once goods are received. Check, book and deliver goods, maintaining accurate records of all movements. Ensure safe storage of goods and product standardisation where appropriate. Chase outstanding orders and address inabilities reports. Assist with product recalls and advise Trust personnel on inconsistencies in delivery notes or orders. Undertake monthly stock evaluations and perform stock counts at suitable times. Liaise with internal and external agencies regarding stock enquiries. Advise staff on information requirements and emergency issues. Collaborate with other staff to promote efficient, cohesive delivery of service, taking on reasonable additional duties as required. Qualifications & Experience Computer literate with experience using electronic Inventory Management Software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and experience of stock control, supplies/stores functions and delivering excellent customer service. Effective communication skills across all organisational levels. Full UK driving licence. Commitment to continuous improvement and a flexible approach, including willingness to work at both North Tees and Hartlepool hospital sites. Pre‑employment screening: DBS check, reference checks covering the last three years of employment, and Disclosure and Barring Scheme clearance where required. Benefits Competitive salary. Pension scheme – National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) with a 3% employer contribution. Night shift and bank holiday working allowances where appropriate.
