About the Practice Our South Shields Quays practice have new owners and is entering a fantastic new era and they are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them The practice is located inside Pets at Home in the centre of town within walking distance to the beautiful coast. Main transport links are nearby and convenient access to the A19 and A1. The surgery is purpose built and fully equipped allowing excellent clinical care to be achieved. The practice will be made up of 2 Vets, 4 nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, 1 Practice Manager & 4 Client Care Advisors. Our practice already has a loyal client base with the potential for further growth, and cases can be worked up locally giving you the opportunity to develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and fully funded. Hours & Schedule Full or part time hours are available. Saturdays are worked on a 1 in 3 basis and are only 9am to 12pm. No Sundays or OOH. We are in the process of buying lap spay equipment. Support available for specialists and certificates. The practice is supportive and has a wealth of clinical knowledge and support from its sister practice in Bedlington.
