Reception Teacher- High Wycombe - January 2026
An inclusive and nurturing primary school in High Wycombe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join a vibrant school community that places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and early development. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can thrive during their first year of formal education.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupils' progress
Monitor and assess children's development, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Support the transition of children into the Reception year and prepare them for Key Stage 1The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception setting
A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for early childhood education This position is a full-time role commencing in January 2026, with a warm and welcoming team, excellent facilities, and a supportive leadership structure.
