Children's Residential Care Worker

Location: Glossop, SK13

Hours: 40 per week plus sleep

Hourly Pay: £13.44 - £14.46 per hour, depending on experience. £66 per sleep-in, typically 6 nights per month

This role is based in one of three beautiful, Good and Outstanding homes in the idyllic Peak District. This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and experienced individual to join a growing team dedicated to supporting young people.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensuring young people’s safety and well-being.

* Leading, supervising, and supporting junior staff.

* Assisting management with policies, procedures, and resource deployment.

* Covering various shifts, including sleep-ins.

* Liaising with external agencies to advocate for young people.

* Promoting an inclusive and respectful work culture.
