Join to apply for the Production Planner role at Morson Talent This role is central to meeting production targets, improving planning efficiency, and supporting operational excellence across the business. The company is a global leader in undersea warfare, designing, manufacturing, and supporting advanced anti‑submarine and torpedo defence systems for allied navies. Key Responsibilities Full ownership of the Production Plan, ensuring schedules are accurate, achievable, and aligned with business priorities. Submit and communicate the Production Plan to the Production Team and key stakeholders. Monitor production output and analyse schedule adherence, identifying risks or delays and taking corrective actions as needed. Maintain and update ERP data for work orders, ensuring accurate material allocation and routing information. Drive ERP improvements by identifying optimisation opportunities and contributing to system enhancement initiatives. Collaborate with Logistics and Procurement to ensure material availability in support of the production schedule. Work closely with the Production Manager to define and maintain daily, weekly, and long‑term production targets. Gather production requirements and priorities from Project Managers and translate them into actionable planning outputs. Communicate effectively with Engineers, Project Managers, Production Teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution. Skills & Experience Technical Skills Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred, but not mandatory). Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced), including data tables, lookups, and formula‑based plan maintenance. Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. Strong organisational abilities with a structured approach to managing rapidly changing priorities. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with frequent updates and shifting requirements. *Ability to obtain security clearance* What We're Looking For We’re seeking someone who is analytical, detail‑oriented, and confident in managing multiple streams of information.
