This includes installation, commissioning, and maintenance, as well as all on-site activities for the UK nuclear industry.We are seeking an experienced Electrical engineer/technician to contribute to the design, development, and review of the cable routing network for the HPC (Hinkley Point C) project. You will be responsible for producing routing deliverables in compliance with UK cabling rules and nuclear regulations, using an optimized in-house routing software to perform various critical tasks.As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with design and management teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.Routing Deliverables and Reports:Generate reliable reports with accurate cable paths and lengths.Ensure compliance with UK routing rules, including lifetime margins, safety function integrity, and electrical segregation.Collaboration with the Layout Team:Provide routing reports to evaluate cable tray filling rates and address queries affecting routing production.Perform quality checks on 3D models, manage civil work electrical openings, and ensure cable tray designs align with routing requirements.Feasibility Studies and Risk Assessment:Assess the impact of design changes or open points on routing activities.Conduct risk analyses and propose mitigation measures for critical modifications.User Feedback and Software Testing:Provide feedback on the routing software (performance, weaknesses, troubleshooting).Participate in beta testing to improve software efficiency and reliability.Communication and Training:Present progress updates and study outcomes at weekly routing follow-up meetings or management boards.Deliver training on the routing software and on cable routing rules and regulations.Knowledge Sharing:Engage in experience-sharing activities (OPEX) from other projects and assess integration opportunities for HPC.Required Skills and QualificationsElectrical Regulations Knowledge: Comprehensive familiarity with industry standards, including RCC-E, NFC15-100, NFC13-200, BS7671, and IEC 60909.Nuclear Sector Expertise: Solid foundation through educational background or hands-on professional experience within the nuclear industry.Quality Management: Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and processes specific to industrial and nuclear projects.CAD Proficiency: Proven experience using advanced CAD tools such as PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.Technical and Organizational Skills:In-depth knowledge of complex electrical systems and expertise in managing long-term projects.Exceptional multitasking abilities and capability to meet demanding deadlines under pressure.You are a meticulous and methodical professional with a solution-oriented mindset.You excel in communication and teamwork, thriving in a collaborative environment.You possess the confidence to make independent technical decisions while fostering effective collaboration with various stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
