Overview We are recruiting an experienced Sourcing Manager to join a leading national retailer within the Commercial team in the central office in North London. Base Pay Range Direct message the job poster from Rise Resourcing Responsibilities Develop and manage the Sourcing strategy for the specified categories within own brand Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliers Understand key cost drivers (and impacts) within your category and continuously identify opportunities for improvement Full responsibility of negotiation of cost price increases and ensuring timelines are communicated throughout the process. Continue to work collaboratively with current suppliers on reducing COGS and expanding the range opportunities Maintain outstanding levels of supplier service and work seamlessly with internal departments to resolve issues promptly. Always seek new suppliers to deliver a stronger commercial offer than current suppliers, or to supply new/alternate products and categories to the business Analyse sales figures to plan successful future lines with the own brand team. Work closely with the new product development teams to maintain quality levels within products. Present reports, figures and trend information to the Senior Management team Key Requirements Proven previous Buying / Procurement / Sourcing experience within a fast-moving FMCG / Food environment. Ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing retail market. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels. Excellent understanding of all MS Office products.
