Job Description An independent and industry recognised Asbestos Consultancy based in Scotland are now seeking to recruit an Asbestos Project Co‑ordinator to join their friendly and driven team. Candidate must hold extensive experience in scheduling asbestos work, creating site drawings, liaising with asbestos staff to ensure accuracy of information for reports prior to quality checking and sending to clients. Enthusiasm, organisation, drive and adaptability are essential. Holding the BOHS P402 qualification would be beneficial. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Paisley, Hamilton, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Penicuik, Falkirk, Stirling. Qualifications Holding the BOHS P402 qualification (beneficial but not essential). Strong background working within an Asbestos Company, in an administrative / project co‑ordination role. Excellent communication skills via phone, email and face to face. Excellent organisational skills, working in line with company needs. Ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities Schedule work for asbestos staff to be carried out on a varied site base. Provide support to clients, acting as first point of call. Confirm accuracy of information with asbestos staff prior to typing up and quality‑checking reports. Provide day‑to‑day support to management. Manage frameworks and forecast work completion. Log jobs coming through onto the internal system. Ensure all internal systems are accurate and up to date. Carry out effective document control. Ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the office. Create site drawings using relevant systems. Prepare end‑of‑month reports for management. Carry out general administrative duties such as answering the phone, making calls, sending emails, scanning and filing documents.
