YOU can be a part of our legacy …We are now recruiting for an Environmental, Chemical & HSE Advisor to join our team, with an emphasis and proven experience within an environmental advisory role. You will report into the Health, Safety & Environment Manager.Co-ordinate the Environmental assessments (Aspects & Impacts) process for the site and the associated risk reduction plansProvide support and advice to employees and managers in relation to Health and Safety and Environmental issues on site, involving other members of the HS&E team to provide specialist guidance when necessarySupport through collection of data and reporting of figures to the regulator, the verification of COMAH and environmental permit complianceUndertake assessment of noise, vibration and air quality across the site in association with other HS&E Team membersUndertake analysis of surface and treated water and other discharge samples to verify batch release and determine permit and consent complianceImplement and drive continuous improvement of HS&E management systems on site through generation of procedures and working practices that support continuous improvement of HS&E performanceInvestigate accidents and spills on site, supporting departmental managers to undertake local investigations where appropriate and identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceUndertake Audits of the HS&E management systems, identify improvements and progress actions through to completionProvide reports and dashboards both to the HS&E Manager and to departments to support continuous monitoring and improvement processesProvide HS&E input to site projects as and when requiredOther reasonable duties as required by the department, as determined by HS&E ManagerDevelop and implement the computerised systems of the company to support HS&E functionSupport the HS&E Team deputising for others where necessarySupport the effluent treatment area through the analysis of samplesAct as an advisor and support for the wider workforce with regard to HS&E issues, demonstrating good practices through actionsWork with managers and senior leaders to drive HS&E complianceAct as Lead for the EMS system including planning of continuous improvement, monitoring of performance and supporting both internal and external auditingThe post holder is required to:Support the HS&E Team deputising for others where necessarySupport the effluent treatment area through the analysis of samplesAct as an advisor and support for the wider workforce with regard to HS&E issues, demonstrating good practices through actionsWork with managers and senior leaders to drive HS&E complianceAct as Lead for the EMS system including planning of continuous improvement, monitoring of performance and supporting both internal and external auditingAdditionally, the post holder will:Develop and implement the computerised systems of the company to support HS&E functionComplementary DescriptionWhy us?Safran was ranked globally as the world's third best employer in its sector by Forbes magazine in 2021.Our employees are at the heart of our success and we work together towards Four People Fundamentals that underpin life at Safran:We believe in and promote diversity and inclusion as key values across our businessWe develop our colleagues skills and build opportunities so you can shape our futureWe create a trustworthy work place to support you, as you dare to act and innovateWe encourage collaboration and mutual support for you and your colleaguesWhat\'s my next step?Please apply by uploading a CV, and if your experience matches what we\'re looking for, one of our recruitment team will give you a call.Diversity & InclusionWe want Safran Landing Systems to be a workplace where everyone feels valued, can be themselves and know they can reach their full potential.
