Base Pay Range £13.07 to £13.37 per hour (actual pay based on skills and experience). About Us MillHouse is changing its direction with the launch of a new service. Our refurbished facility includes an outdoor gym, arcade and updated client spaces. We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, and Banks Workers during this transition. Role Overview As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping residents achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. You will provide emotional and practical support in day‑to‑day activities, foster independence, build life skills, and work towards recovery. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with mental‑health professionals to ensure each individual's wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Offer day‑to‑day support to residents with mental health conditions in a residential setting. Assist with personal care, medication management, and promote healthy lifestyles. Support residents in developing independence, social skills, and confidence. Provide one‑to‑one and group activities that promote mental and emotional wellbeing. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement person‑centred care plans. Record and monitor residents' progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Encourage residents to engage in community activities and support them in accessing local services. Key Requirements Previous experience in a similar role, working with individuals with mental health conditions (desired but not essential). A compassionate, patient, and non‑judgemental approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
