We are seeking a skilled Application Programmer to provide application support for our .NET-based software systems. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing existing applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in .NET technologies, coding, excellent problem-solving skills, SQL and the ability to collaborate effectively with development and infrastructure teams. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and maintenance for .NET applications (C#) and related systems. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with development teams to deploy updates, patches, and enhancements. Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential problems. Document support activities, issue resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles. Analyse user requirements and recommend improvements for application stability and efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field. Proven experience in development or application support, ideally 2+ years. Strong knowledge of .NET Framework (C#), MS-SQL/MySQL, Scripting (PowerShell). Experience with application troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization. Familiarity with software deployment and maintenance processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Power Shell scripting. Experience with Cloud(M365/AWS), SaaS applications and SQL Server. Knowledge of application monitoring tools and performance metrics. Familiarity with version control systems and software development lifecycle.
