Assistant Manager at FarmfoodsOur shop in Albion Retail Park, Blyth is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join a friendly and dedicated team. This is a permanent, full‑time position covering a 43‑hour week, normally 5 days from 7 each week, with weekend coverage.Base Pay & BenefitsHours: 43 hours per week.Pay: £30,240 – £31,392 per annum.Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, smart uniform, free life assurance, workplace pension, virtual GP and discounted services.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide outstanding service.Develop retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback.Act as shop manager in their absence, ensuring customer service, delivery workflow, shop routines and cleanliness.Motivate team to control operational costs: shrinkage, waste, payroll.Support recruitment and induction of new team members.QualificationsFriendly, positive, hard working approach.Excellent people skills, builds strong relationships.Trustworthy and reliable; dependable to team and customers.Experience in management, team leadership or supervision.Career GrowthFarmfoods provides long‑term career progression, with many staff promoted from shop level to area manager and senior management.Contract InformationPosition: ASM | Hours: 43 | Days: 5 | Type: Full‑timeSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionOther (Retail) #J-18808-Ljbffr
