Overview We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Health Care Support Worker to join the progressive and dedicated team on Portland ward at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, based at Poole Hospital. About the Ward Portland Ward is a 14 bedded Acquired Brain Injury & neurology Ward. Requirements The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining and developing high standards. A friendly and patient-centred approach is vital to this exciting role. Additional information Ward will be moving to Bournemouth site early 2026. Our values define who we are as #TeamUHD. UHD are investing in services across the Trust, with many being transformed and developed following merger and the New Hospital Programme. This means that some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or long term. Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute.
