About the Role
Destination Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving Primary School in Barnet. This full-time role is available for an immediate or October 2025 start, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive school community that values creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils across the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering curiosity and creativity, alongside excellent classroom management skills and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and progress.
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school community.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives, clubs, and enrichment activities.
Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Has recent experience teaching in KS1 or KS2.
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Has strong classroom management and a reflective teaching approach.
Is creative, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
