Senior Administrator – Restructuring Advisory

OverviewFRP Advisory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to join our Contentious Insolvency team. The candidate will have a strong background in restructuring advisory and insolvency, including administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies, ideally with some previous experience in investigations and insolvency litigation. This role involves the development and execution of asset recovery strategies in insolvency cases, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth progression of the team’s contentious caseload.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive administrative support to the Contentious Insolvency teamSupport team managers and directors across a portfolio of cases under supervisionWork with senior staff in developing and then following case strategy as determinedHold responsibility within case teams for (i) handling the necessary day-to-day administration of the case, (ii) preparation of case documents, both statutory and non-statutory and (iii) assisting with ad hoc matters/tasks as delegatedPrepare written/email correspondence to key stakeholders and deal with telephone enquiries, with guidance as necessaryManage case performance, including deadlines and progression (via IPS) and ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and company policies and proceduresManage and delegate work, when appropriate, and provide guidance and support to the Insolvency Administrators within the teamConduct open-source investigations and develop asset recovery strategies under supervision by the team’s senior staffLiaise and coordinate with legal and other external advisors to progress potential litigation and other contentious aspectsQualificationsProven experience in an insolvency administrator roleStrong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyRelevant qualifications or certifications in administration or a related field are desirableAdditional InformationStraightforward: We provide clear, no-nonsense adviceConfident: Our guidance is backed by expertise and evidencePragmatic: We focus on practical solutions and tangible outcomesReal: We are professional yet approachable, understanding the challenges our clients faceWe are committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and diverse culture and to sustainable practices as part of our strategy and operations.
