About The Role As a Senior Care Assistant working nights at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. Responsibilities Plan and implement the kind of care that will give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. Get to know residents and their families – helping to ensure we deliver truly personalised care plans. Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care, influencing the rest of the team. Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, and administering medication. Maintain accurate records of the work you do and build strong relationships with the rest of the team. Qualifications Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent. Background in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. Brilliant positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Strong record‑keeping skills and effective time‑management ability. Considerate and kind communication with residents and co‑workers.
