SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is looking for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Occupational Hygienist to join our Environment & Safety Division.ResponsibilitiesAttend clients' operational sites to safely perform scheduled monitoring to determine occupational exposure to dust, fume, noise, vibration and other workplace health hazardsPrepare detailed technical occupational hygiene reports to SOCOTEC’s high quality standardsComply with SOCOTEC’s management systems (Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality)Maintain your occupational hygiene continuous professional development (CPD)QualificationsRelevant BOHS / IOA qualifications - (Minimum 1 relevant BOHS module)Degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the client’s workforceAbility to self-manage workload & deadlinesFull UK driving licence; willingness to travel and stay overnight when requiredAbout EnvironmentalOur Environmental team brings together specialists across Environmental Monitoring, Consultancy, and Occupational Hygiene, supported by our own specialist laboratories.
