Paramedic Practitioner (fixed term) We are a modern GP practice with a dynamic, motivated and friendly team. This 1‑year fixed‑term role is based at Boroughbury Medical Centre – the largest GP surgery in Peterborough. The successful candidate will provide on‑the‑day appointments for patients with minor illnesses, triage patients requesting home visits, and undertake suitable home visits within the community (including nursing and residential homes). Key responsibilities: Provide on‑day appointments for patients presenting with minor illness. Triage patients requesting home visits and undertake suitable home visits within the community. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, ACPs and other paramedics. Contribute to training, education and research initiatives as an accredited training practice. Essential qualifications and experience: Degree/diploma in Paramedicine or equivalent experience. Three years of post‑registration clinical experience, band 6 or equivalent. Registered with HCPC. Clean driving licence. Desirable qualifications and experience: Minor Illness, Advanced Clinical Assessment or Independent Prescribing qualifications. Previous experience in Primary Care / General Practice.
