Job Title Companion Drivers at Experience Oxfordshire Overview Driving Miss Daisy Didcot are looking for compassionate ‘Companion’ Drivers on a full-time basis. The role supports senior citizens and vulnerable people by bridging the gap between taxis, public transport and voluntary agencies, helping them stay independent and safe. Key Responsibilities Drive in a caring and professional manner, engage clients and promote the service. Provide professional and caring companionship services. Manage time effectively, organise schedules and prioritise tasks. Escalate concerns, issues or accidents as necessary. Duties Take clients to medical appointments or carry out prescription collections. Assist with shopping trips and day out activities. Offer companionship at home or out and about. Transport children and young adults to or from school and activities, including those with Special Educational Needs. Qualifications & Experience It is vital that you have a background in care, experience caring for people (this could be your own family members), and/or a genuine passion for working with vulnerable people and providing person‑centric care.
