Now part of the Iberdrola and ScottishPower group, we’re building smarter, greener electricity networks to help Britain grow—investing in a better future, faster.About The RoleWe’re looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and provide expert commercial and contractual support across a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, internal controls, and industry standards. From managing post-contract activities to driving continuous improvement in commercial practices, this is a role where your expertise will make a real impact.What You’ll Be DoingDeliver and control post-contract management across multiple projects.Maintain high-level commercial assurance on contracts including NEC, JCT, and bespoke frameworks.Drive performance through improved contract management and variation control.Support project managers with forecasting and spend control, ensuring efficiency.Assist in building budget estimates for PAG approval using cost data and measurement techniques.Monitor delivery partner progress on-site, verifying costs and managing compensation events.Lead on contract resolution issues, focusing on affordability and risk mitigation.Partner with procurement to select contractual routes and evaluate tenders.Carry out mini-tender procurement activities for non-framework projects.Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to align objectives.What We’re Looking ForDegree in Quantity Surveying.Experience in contract management and negotiation (NEC/JCT essential).Knowledge of claims resolution and valuing variations.Awareness of cost value reporting (CVRs), cost control, and forecasting.Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage differing interpretations of contract terms.Experience managing high-value, multi-disciplined projects.Chartered or working towards (RICS/CIOB/CICES) desirable.Full UK driving licence.What We’re OfferingAs a vital team member and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, you’ll receive a favourable salary and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.An annual bonus schemeCompany Car or Car Allowance25 days annual leave increasing with length of servicePrivate HealthcareAn employee rewards portal offering discounts on several well-known brandsA market-leading contributory pension schemeEmployee assistance programme and opportunity for professional development through our L&D function.Our Commitment to InclusionWe’re proud to foster a workplace where everyone can thrive.
