Your mission is to extend the capabilities of our core systems—adapting them to new geographies, regulatory frameworks, and grid architectures—without compromising performance, reliability, or speed of innovation.This role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll work closely with product, operations, legal, and regulatory teams to build scalable and flexible systems that support rapid expansion. You’ll also lead a team of engineers dedicated to developing market-specific features and integrations, ensuring Fuse Energy delivers a consistent and seamless experience to customers around the world.What You’ll DoLead engineering efforts focused on international expansion and localizationBuild integrations with local grid operators, regulators, and third-party providersArchitect scalable systems that can flex to support diverse market conditions (e.g., tariffs, billing schemes, compliance)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and deliver expansion goalsEstablish clear processes to balance core product velocity with expansion requirementsMentor and lead a team of engineers focused on growth and new marketsQualificationsProven engineering leadership experience5+ years experience as a software engineer, including 2+ years in a technical leadership roleDeep understanding of backend systems and distributed architectureStrong product instincts; ability to translate market requirements into scalable technical solutionsComfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and regulatory complexityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBonusExperience launching technical products in international or regulated marketsFamiliarity with energy systems, market regulation, or utility integrationBackground in building flexible pricing, billing, or compliance architecturesExperience with multi-region infrastructure and deploymentBenefitsCompetitive salary and a stock options sign-on bonusBiannual bonus schemeFully expensed tech to match your needsPaid annual leaveBreakfast and dinner for office based employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
