Senior Cardiac Physiologist Position within Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Stadium Road, London SE18 4QH. Job Summary Provide leadership for the ECG service and cardiac investigations, overseeing analysis and interpretation of specific investigations, ensuring efficient distribution of results and maintaining quality standards across the Cardiac Department. Main Duties Lead ECG service and cardiac investigations. Delegate responsibility for analysis and interpretation of specific investigations. Monitor and maintain quality standards of all investigations and staff within the Cardiac Department. Person Specification – Essential BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology with Cardiac Specialism. UK Resus Council Immediate Life Support. Significant experience working in a Cardiac Department (non‑invasive disciplines, cardiac catheter lab, rhythm management). UK Resus Council Advanced Life Support (desirable). Person Specification – Desirable IBHRE – Cardiac devices. BSE certification. Experience as a Band 6 Cardiac Physiologist. Echocardiography experience and complex pacing/ICD implant follow‑up. Professional Development Demonstrated intention to achieve a higher level qualification in a specific area of Cardiology.
