You will use data and insights to shape trading decisions, deliver impactful merchandising, and test new ideas that enhance both customer experience and commercial outcomes. We want someone who is proactive, customer - centric, and thrives in a fast-moving digital retail environmentWhat you will be doing as our Online Trading Manager:Own the day-to-day trading of the website to deliver sales, margin, and digital KPIsDevelop and implement weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual trade plans aligned with revenue, margin, and EBITDA targetsLead trade meetings to review performance, share insights, and identify future opportunities to drive growthManage weekly and monthly forecasting of sales KPIsCollaborate with Buying team on range availability and product opportunitiesCollaborate with wider Multichannel team to develop and manage the digital trading calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and seasonal activityWork cross-functionally with Content, UX/UI, CRM, and Performance Marketing to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and traffic-driving activity.Monitor and analyse on-site performance (conversion, bounce rate, AOV, exit rates, category/product/homepage metrics)Manage trading reports and dashboards to track KPIs and share insights with senior leadershipAdopt a data-led approach to decision-making using analytics tools & platforms Experience in GA & Contentsquare is preferredDeliver best-in-class on-site visual merchandising and customer experienceManage and optimise smart search & merchandising platforms to enhance product discovery, personalisation, and relevanceWork closely with UX team to support experimentation activity interpreting results to inform optimisation strategies and analyse behavioural data and drive continuous improvements across the funnelKey skills and attributes we are looking for in our Online Trading Manager:Proven experience in ecommerce trading within a retail or consumer brand environment, experience in furniture retail is preferredStrong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth, margin improvement, and digital KPIsDeep understanding of ecommerce metrics and analytics, with hands-on experience using GA, Contentsquare, or similar tools.
