OverviewYou'll be a key part of our delivery team, contributing to the design and analysis of complex structures, while developing your technical and project management skills.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality engineering solutions and support project delivery across major UK and international assignmentsWork on the design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors - from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine worksUndertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standardsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clientsContribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficientlyAdopt the standardisation and peer review of technical work to uphold design excellenceMake positive contributions to health and safety on projects and across your work priorities health, safety and wellbeing, by reducing and managing associated riskQualificationsA degree in civil or structural engineering (postgrad qualifications welcome)A proactive approach to become a Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStructE)Experience designing complex structures (foundations, bridges, marine structures, etc.) using steel, concrete, or composite materialsA good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modellingFamiliarity with Eurocodes and international design standardsProficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS, MidasA collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skillsAbout RendelAt Rendel, part of the international Ingérop Group, we're more than just a consultancy - we're a legacy of engineering excellence dating back to 1838.
