Specialist Occupational Therapist

Vacancy at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust The Rheumatology Therapy team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team for a full or part time 12‑month Secondment/Fixed Term contract. The role is suitable for an Occupational Therapist with experience working with rheumatology patients or managing long‑term conditions in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be based in York Hospital, working from Archways community centre. This role may also involve working from Malton Community Hospital up to two days a week. The Rheumatology therapy team is made up of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who work across the areas of Rheumatology. You will have access to a support network including the Rheumatology Medical team, Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead, Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists, operational leadership team and professional leadership team. Interviews will take place on Monday, 1st December 2025. We are committed to investment and development across all four pillars of practice. The role will involve undertaking clinical audits and we encourage involvement in research. You will also have the opportunity to lead on developments within the service and provide supervision and education for Occupational Therapy students.
