Join us at TG and be part of a team that is making a difference in the world of ecology and environmental consultancy.The roleWorking in the Landscape Planning sector, every day will be different.You’ll be accountable for overseeing the delivery of quality reporting and have plenty of contact with our clients – ensuring that projects are delivered on budget, on time and to a high standard.You will be responsible for shaping development proposals, with landscape planning at the forefront of our client’s plans. From project inception and bidding stages, right through to preparing documents to accompany planning applications. This will include: initial feasibility/opportunities and constraints analysis; LVA; LVIA’s; EIA’s and strategic landscape proposals.You will juggle a combination of juicy urban and rural projects you can sink your teeth intoYou will collaborate with our in-house ecology, GBI and arboriculture teamsYou will build relationships both with clients and stakeholders alike. No day will be the same and we certainly offer varietyIn addition, you will be given the opportunity to specialise outside of project delivery, in helping shape Tyler Grange for the betterWhat we're looking for:Academic qualifications in a relevant subjectMinimum of six years’ experience and Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) preferredExcellent verbal communication and written skillsFirst rate project management skillsProficient in carrying out LVIAs and LVAs, including input into landscape design / mitigation strategiesProficient in EIAA good understanding of legislative and planning policy frameworkProficient in providing due diligence advice to clients in respect to landscape character and visual mattersExperience of managing projects on time and to budget, including a lead role within multi-disciplinary teamsExperience liaising with clients, statutory bodies and LPAsTrack record of business development and winning own workFull UK driving licence to enable site workThe icing on the cake for us would be:Involvement or some experience of providing expert witness services would be an advantageDesire to mentor team membersIf you need any additional support from us during the application process, please reach out to lucie.waldron@tylergrange.co.uk or include this in your application itself, as we are committed to ensuring that every candidate has equitable access to our opportunities.Associate Salary £50,040 to £57,700Location: Leeds #J-18808-Ljbffr
