Her sleep and wake times are unpredictable, and she can sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours. Your Responsibilities Diabetes Care: Care assistant will assist with insulin management, checking blood glucose (CBG) levels, and ensuring the client follows a nutritionally balanced diet that is low in sugar. Dementia Support: Provide patient and adaptable care, understanding that her routine can change on a daily basis. You will need to manage and de-escalate occasional challenging behaviors with a calm and empathetic approach. Personal Care: Help with personal care, medication management, and meal preparation. Companionship: Offer friendly companionship and support.
