AK Teaching are supporting a special school based in Yorkshire and are seeking a compassionate, motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our highly skilled team. The school have a well-earned reputation for excellence in supporting children and young people aged 8 to 19 with a wide range of special educational needs. As an LSA, you will play a key role in delivering a dynamic, innovative and highly individualised learning experience that supports pupils with physical disabilities and learning difficulties to achieve their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally. About the Role Support the teaching and learning of pupils with a variety of complex needs Work closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver personalised learning programmes Promote independence, communication, and personal development Help create a calm, inspiring and nurturing learning environment Be part of a committed team who make a real difference every day About You Has experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential) Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Is flexible, resilient, and committed to inclusive education Can build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff and families Is eager to learn and develop professionally within a specialist setting Why Join Us Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners with additional needs.
