About the School Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Middleton. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. Contract / Position Details Location - Middleton Position - Year 2 Teaching Assistant Start date - November 2025 Full time/part time - Full-time Minimum rate of pay - £103.95 - £110 per day Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30 pm Experience, Training and Qualifications Previous experience supporting children in a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) preferred Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year A passion for supporting children's learning and development Eligibility Criteria Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up‑to‑date CV.
