About The Role (WORKING IN AN OFSTED REGISTERED CHILDRENS HOME) ForeverCare are looking for full time dedicated Residential practitioner to provide quality, person-centred care to Children aged 5 to 17, with a variety of different needs and requirements. All who require care and support in our ever-expanding service. this Role is for the Manchester area and Oldham We are committed to finding individuals who want to make a real difference to children’s lives - people that are passionate, committed and invest in all that they do to achieve their potential and support others to do so. You will work alongside the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Residential Practitioner caring for and supporting our children to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will work with external agencies. All daily and specific recordings will need to be completed to a high standard and inputted on to a software system. You will report directly to the Senior Practitioner Deputy Manager and Registered Manager. We are keen to speak with candidates who can work days and/or nights. In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria: Right to Work in the UK 6 months+ UK experience of working within a similar setting 5 years of professional references Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one) Work towards achieving the best outcomes for children in line with Care Quality standards and Children's homes regulations 2015. Most Desirable Qualifications level 3 Diploma in Social Care (0-18 year olds) Will require no further NVQ. We currently have 6 registered children's homes with Ofsted. These young people are vulnerable and some can be challenging.
