HGV Class 1 Driver – Heywood Depot At Lineage, helping to feed the world is more than a job – it’s a purpose we live every day. Shift Available Monday – Friday working on days (Some early starts around 03:00) Rate of Pay £15.01 per hour for hours worked up to 39 hours each week. Any hours worked over 39 hours each week will be paid at time and a half. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times – all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported. Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle. Carry out trunking and multi‑drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations). Double‑check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot. What are we looking for? Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in‑date DigiTacho and CPC. Previous Class 1 driving experience. Someone who can lift up to 18 kg.
