We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the team in a role combining regional leadership of the team in Scotland and technical project delivery.We value integrity and professionalism aligned with creativity and vision and as part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.A Little More About Your Role…As a Regional Lead for Scotland you will be responsible for the leadership of the Scottish team including:managing resource deployment, performance and team communications;guiding the development of the team and individuals within it;ensuring adherence to corporate processes, and;promoting a positive work environment.In doing so you will collaborate with the National Leadership Team and other Regional Leads.The role will also involve leading and co-ordinating Landscape & Urban Design team projects:As a Landscape Planner you would lead, author and co-ordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.In a Landscape Architect role you would lead on design projects, including urban realm and mixed-use developments, through all LI/RIBA stages, generally working in a BIM level 2 environment.Other Responsibilities Will IncludeManaging and delegating project work to junior members of the team.Engaging with clients supporting the continued development of our relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors.Preparation of bids, from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.Joining internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation, excellence and thought leadership.What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.Postgraduate diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.An established track record delivering Landscape Planning and Design projects through the project lifecycle.Experience of understanding client requirements and developing scope and fee proposals.Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
