Main duties of the job The provision of an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements and accepted professional and ethical standards The provision of advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients whilst ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines. To advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments, whilst staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards Promoting a patient focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service. The hospital offers a premium service in key areas of complex healthcare including orthopaedics, neurology, spinal, general, cardiac care, and gynaecology. Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site. Experience with clinical ward rounds Pre-Assessment experience preferred Ideally Experience with oncology and BOPA accredited Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions Have a minimum of 2 years, post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level Clinical diploma desirable Working Hours:Part Time - 30 hours - Monday - Friday 8am-5pm / 9am-5pm and some Saturdays 8am-1pm.
