As Director, Artist Brand Management, you will lead a small, dynamic team responsible for developing and executing long-term UK signed artists brand strategies that position iconic artists in fresh, culturally relevant ways. This is about narrative building. You will partner across Creative, Social, Earned Media, and Commercial teams to turn data-driven insights into ideas that drive sustained streaming growth, artist affinity, and attribution. What You'll Do Translate consumer and audience data into insight and action by partnering with Analytics and Commercial teams to uncover consumption behaviors and affinities to develop fan segmentation and market opportunities that inform artist positioning. Create the framework for measurement and benchmarking to track and optimize for each artist on your roster, building ultimately toward brand attribution and business goals Define and evolve artist positioning for both core and opportunity audiences, ensuring each artist's story, tone, and creative identity feel distinct, authentic, and relevant in all audience touchpoints – inclusive of brand identity and promise Architect comprehensive and integrated brand strategies that translate catalogue heritage into forward-facing value propositions tailored to diverse audience segments and new listener behaviors, setting the lifecycle roadmap to future proof the coming years. Use your benchmarking framework to set bold, measurable goals into each cycle. Create and distribute brand guidelines for usage and consistency, refreshing as needed Execute a clear process for reactive opportunities, building workflows and driving actionable plans that to enable the team to move quickly on cultural, social, and streaming trends in market and globally while maintaining creative and brand alignment Lead cross-functional campaigns that integrate creative, earned, social, and DSP strategies into one cohesive, audience-first narrative Manage the entire global budget planning and execution taking in market, cultural, and audience differentiated opportunities, while tracking growth factors to replicate or broaden. Own the budget across cross-functional initiatives holistically including owned, earned, paid, partner media allocations Champion an always-on mindset, creating consistent engagement that incorporate release cycles, but transcend and build the artist profiles across strategic moments in culture, trends, seasonality, and artist legacy, factoring in the competitive landscape Foster collaboration across internal regional and global teams, creative partners, and artist management Develop bespoke external partnerships for artist amplification in line with defined positioning, strategy, and mutually beneficial audience growth potential that has the potential to scale into repeatable programming and larger sponsorship Inspire and lead the Artist Brand Management team by developing internal talent, setting clear direction and responsibilities, and cultivating a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and accountability Report on performance, synthesizing data into insights and defining measurable success and benchmarks to continuously evolve the artist strategies as audience behaviors evolve Qualifications A strategic brand thinker with deep understanding of how audiences form emotional connections with artists and music Experienced in music, culture, or brand marketing, ideally from a label, agency, or platform background Skilled at developing positioning frameworks that extend across audience segments and streaming ecosystems Fluent in data-informed storytelling and able to turn insights into strategies that move the needle Operationally minded with experience setting processes that balance creativity with agility Naturally collaborative and comfortable in cross-functional environments that blend creativity, commerce, and analytics Confident presenting to senior leadership and artist management with credibility and enthusiasm Creative problem solver at high and granular levels Passionate about music, entertainment, streaming, culture, and the future of fan engagement Company Values Curiosity: We do our best work when we're immersing ourselves in culture and breaking through barriers.
