Accounts Payable Manager Location: Bridgwater (with flexibility to work from home - 1 day per week in the office)Salary: Up to £39,000 + excellent benefitsRole type: Full-time, permanent We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a busy transactional finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the hands-on side of accounts payable and the leadership aspects of managing and developing a team. Key responsibilities: Managing the accounts payable process from start to finish (P2P). Leading, coaching and developing a small team to meet deadlines and targets. Reviewing team performance, providing regular feedback and support. Ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. Handling supplier queries and building strong working relationships. Keeping process documentation up to date and driving improvements. Working closely with colleagues across finance and operations. To be considered you will have: Previous experience in a team leader or manager role within finance / accounts payable. Strong understanding of P2P processes. Confident communicator with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Organised, accurate and able to prioritise a busy workload. Comfortable managing people and improving performance.
