We strive to provide our customers with products that deliver outstanding performance on all parameters.Job Purpose The opportunity comes as part of our growth plans, to develop more resource and support for the sales team and create efficiencies. The role supports the design, development and installation of innovative playground schemes by producing high-quality CAD drawings and eye‑catching 3D generated presentations. The Designer will play a key role in producing and pricing creative concepts that meet safety standards and client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret client briefs, site surveys, and drawings to deliver creative, functional, and cost‑effective 2D design solutions and quotationsProduce 3D visuals and illustrations/plans for submissions to clientsLiaise with design colleagues, sales team and contracts teams to ensure feasibility and complianceThird party quotation managementCo‑ordinating multiple projects simultaneouslyProject management to ensure best practices are implementedDevelop, implement and monitor policies and guidelines for design processesReporting to managementSkills & ExperienceYou have a design related degree, e.g. product design, graphic design, interior designYou are proficient in AutoCAD and 3D Studio Max and have experience in using Photoshop and/or Adobe Creative SuiteUse of Revit (desirable)Experience in landscape, architectural, or product design – preferably in playground or outdoor leisure sectorsKnowledge of UK playground safety standards is advantageousYour ProfileYou have a creative eyeYou are a team player with an ambition to learn and develop new skillsYou are sociable, helpful, with a can‑do attitude and a positive outlookStrong communication, teamwork and collaborative abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesA proactive, problem‑solving mindset, always looking to improve efficiencies and positively influence KOMPAN through a collaborative approachPassion for play, outdoor environments, and inclusive designWe offer attractive terms of employment and a position in an international company with opportunity for growth across the group as well as our local UK business, valuing staff retention.KOMPAN is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all to apply.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionDesign, Art/Creative, and Information TechnologyIndustriesRecreational Facilities, Architecture and Planning, and Wholesale Building Materials #J-18808-Ljbffr
