Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Mechanically biased, Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to work for a leading name in the manufacturing sector? Do you have strong fault‑finding skills and experience maintaining industrial machinery in a fast‑paced production environment? We are working with a highly respected manufacturer based in Milton Keynes who are investing heavily in their engineering team. Due to growth and investment in new equipment, they're now seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their site. The Maintenance Engineer Role: Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs Mechanical work including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes Electrical fault‑finding on 3‑phase systems, PLC‑controlled machinery, and control panels Working within a small, skilled team across a range of automated production machinery Recording all maintenance activities using the CMMS The Maintenance Engineer Requirements: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship trained ideal) Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting Excellent Mechanical knowledge with capable Electrical fault‑finding skills Flexible and team‑oriented with a proactive attitude to maintenance Shift: 6 am – 2 pm (1 week)2 pm – 10 pm (1 week) What’s in it for you?
