Job Description As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and compliance of complex aerospace and high-performance products throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to uphold world-class standards and ensure products meet rigorous industry and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems aligned with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 and related industry standards. Lead verification and validation activities to ensure products meet functional, performance and safety requirements. Identify, analyse and resolve quality issues, including defects, non-conformances and process deviations. Work closely with engineering, design and production teams to embed quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle. Document all tests, analysis, investigations and corrective actions accurately and effectively. Support compliance with aerospace, space and high-reliability regulatory standards. Contribute to continuous improvement programmes to enhance product reliability and operational performance. This position requires strong technical understanding and attention to detail, as the Quality Engineer will work on high-reliability systems where safety and performance are critical. Skills & Experience Degree (or equivalent experience) in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering or similar discipline. Proven experience in a quality, product assurance or compliance role, ideally within aerospace, defence, space or high-reliability engineering sectors. Strong understanding of quality control processes, testing methodologies and verification techniques. Proficiency with statistical analysis tools, data evaluation and quality management systems. Knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes, materials and engineering principles. Excellent communication, reporting and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and influence quality outcomes. Must be able to meet the requirements for UK Security Clearance.
